Young Adult and Students at St Werburgh’s

Whether you’ve recently moved to Manchester for work or you're from the city, a current student, or starting a new course we’d love to welcome you to St Werburgh’s.

We love Young Adults and Students. This time of life is full of joy and challenge and we think being rooted in a church community is the best way to thrive. The 5PM is our evening Gathering envisioned for Young Adults and Students. It's a relaxed space for Young Adults and those who enjoy extended worship, discussion, and teaching. As Young Adults we meet for socials after The 5PM and across the year; whether BBQ’s, pub trips, prayer walks or games nights. 

Our morning 10:45 Gathering is where our kids & youth and families happen, however there’s no fixed place for anyone!

One of the things we love most about St Werburgh’s is our wide range of ages and life experiences that make up our church family. When we gather we have a passion to encounter Jesus, to live lives of faith marked by stepping out in trust to follow Jesus. Knowing life in Jesus means that we take Jesus and his calling seriously but we not ourselves, making sure to have fun along the way!

There are Groups to join that meet midweek in Chorlton and across South Manchester where we engage with the Bible and pray for one another as we learn to live our whole lives for Jesus. Joining a Group is the best way to get to know other people in the Church, develop a support network and know there are people cheering you on.
